1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services of GlowSource Portal ("we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Services Description

GlowSource Portal provides custom handmade furniture design, manufacturing, and related services including:

• Custom furniture design and consultation
• Handcrafted furniture manufacturing
• Furniture delivery and installation services
• Furniture refinishing and restoration

3. Orders and Contracts

3.1 Order Process

All custom furniture orders require a written contract specifying dimensions, materials, finishes, timeline, and pricing. Orders are confirmed upon receipt of deposit payment.

3.2 Deposits and Payments

• 50% deposit required to begin work
• Remaining balance due upon completion
• Payment accepted via cash, check, or major credit cards
• Late payment fees may apply after 30 days

3.3 Changes and Modifications

Changes to approved designs may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments. All changes must be approved in writing.

4. Timelines and Delivery

Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

• Material availability
• Weather conditions affecting finishing
• Unforeseen manufacturing challenges
• Customer-requested changes

We will communicate any significant delays promptly.

5. Warranty

5.1 Manufacturing Warranty

We provide a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects and structural failures under normal use. This warranty covers:

• Structural integrity of joints and connections
• Manufacturing defects in materials
• Hardware functionality

5.2 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse or abuse
• Damage from environmental factors
• Modifications by third parties

6. Cancellation and Returns

6.1 Customer Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before work begins with 48 hours notice. Deposits are refundable minus a 10% processing fee. Once work has commenced, cancellation fees apply based on work completed.

6.2 Custom Nature

Due to the custom nature of our furniture, returns are not accepted unless the item fails to meet agreed specifications.

7. Intellectual Property

Custom designs created for customers remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed. Customers receive unlimited personal use rights but cannot reproduce designs commercially.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the furniture. We are not liable for:

• Consequential or incidental damages
• Loss of profits or business interruption
• Property damage during delivery

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, labor strikes, or government regulations.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Northwest Territories and Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Northwest Territories.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately for new orders.
